Public Events / 4-15-15 April Munch probably Canceled
« on: April 14, 2015, 02:20:19 am »
The munch for April was originally scheduled for Shakespeare's South, from 7-9.

However I personally have a spiraling family situation that is most likely going to take my attention that evening, we'll have to cancel unless another member of PR can host, and take attendance.

If you can, please PM and post here so people can know where and whom to meet.

The April Raq'em will be held, as always, at Billiards on Broadway on Thursday, the 2nd from 7pm to 9pm.  Come out to meet some fun people, shoot some pool, play some pinball, and have a generally good time.  Look for the rose on the table.  We hope to see you there!

For information, check out their website:

Kindashy,

I hope you're able to attend. That said, this is not a Pandora's Rose event. Any information about ticket availability and purchasing can be found on their website http://beatmeinstl.com/home.html

Bump for updated location.

I myself do not, but I know a number of our members past, and some current have juggled that. What questions do you have about the balance between parent and kinkster?

Just FYI, I'm feeling under the weather, and in case I'm contagious, I will not be attending tonight. Unfortunately if I'm not able to find a member to act as host, we night have to cancel tonight's munch.

I'll update things here as they develop.

Public Discussion / Re: Hot Wax
« on: January 08, 2015, 03:20:26 pm »
Good question. I loved the one experience I had with wax. That sharp sting and lingering heat on your bare skin.

Also one of the best questions to ask when it comes to wax play. Not all candles are the same. First rule is to avoid anything scented. Gel candles are WAAAAY too hot. Always avoid them.

From there, most standard unscented undyed pillars or taper candles with cotton wicks should be good, but it never hurts to do a few tests to find out what the melting point is on that particular candle. When dripping, you can always start from higher up to let the droplet cool a bit, and work closer to the skin as the recipient warms up.

Lastly, always make sure communication is clear and open, with a safe word, or possibly a hand signal.

Welcome to the group, and the lifestyle.

I'm David, one of the board members here with PR. In scenes, I find I have a pretty wide range of interests, both physically, mentally, as well as topping and bottoming.

Outside of scene I'm rather geeky, with a solid grounding in engineering and sciences but a large supply of crafty and fantasy.

What are some of your interests, both in and out of scene?

Due to the Holiday, Raq Em will be postponed to the second Thursday, January 8th, 2015.

Come, join us and share in the great post holiday stories or drink away some of the misery of having to deal with unpleasant family. I'm looking forward to another game of pool if we have any others interested.

Look for the drawing of the Rose, and as always this is a vanilla dress event.
