Ryanbar, the events are open events in which we eat at the restaurant and socialize.  They are casual events, with conversations about all sorts of things, kinky and not kinky. People are often just catching up with each other and being friendly. The events are held during regular business hours so we try to be respectful of the location in regards to overtly sexual or kinky conversations.  We do highly value discretion, as well as not wanting to make the restaurant's other patrons uncomfortable.

Tyson, hello and welcome! Do you have any specific questions or information you arenlooking for?

Hello and welcome! I sure hope to meet you at an in-person munch some time in the future when we can have those again.  In the mean time, the virtual ones are really fun!

My positivity is that I have a whole week off of work so I've been working on a lot of projects around the house that I just haven't had time for.  I've made a ton of progress on an embroidery project.  I put up a birdfeeder right outside my bedroom window so now every morning I'm greeted with beautiful birds and their songs.  I've repotted and started fertilizing a bunch of my plants now that it is spring.  I figured out how to trim my dog's nails really quickly...peanut butter is her friend. A really challenging to find plant arrived today and I am just absolutely thrilled to add it to my collection.

I have also been working my way through Marvel movies.  Been watching the Thor movies. Have Ragnarok to watch next.

And I have also enjoyed gaming and hanging out virtually with awesome kinky friends!

Today's positivity comes in the form of humor.  I was driving down Stadium, over by the mall. Walking down the sidewalk, there was a person sized armadillo...like a mascot.  It was wearing only a cowboy hat and a red bandana. As I'm driving by, it starts to remove its red bandana in a very strip tease manner.

At first, I though I was losing my mind. All the stress and isolation of Covid-19 had gotten to me and now I was hallucinating strip tease armadillos.  But I circled the block. And I got the best photo proof I could get while still driving (shame on me I know). Others have seen this photo. It is as bonkers as it sounds.  I think I'm still sane?

Today I felt positive because I've been working on a new embroidery project and I've made enough progress to see that it is turning out like it looks in my head!  It is an abstract picture of a river running through a desert.

There are a ton of daffodils in the yard across the street...like dozens.  Today with the sun shining, they look so vibrant! Plus one of my indoor succulents is in full bloom with bright yellow flowers.  They sort of smell like Children's Tylenol...which is an odd fragrance for a flower to have.

Times are tough right now.  Uncertainty...fear...these things are prevalent.  I am missing my friends and being social, and I'm sure many of you are as well. It can be really tough to not get bogged down in the negativity of this situation.

Therefore I'm going to do something different and I encourage anyone who wants to, to join me!  I am going to try, every day, to reply to this thread with something positive about the day.  Something made you/me smile? Post it.  You/I saw something beautiful? Post it.  Saw a clever joke (not pandemic related)? Post it!

Let this be a brief refuge from everything else going on in the world, and a chance to focus on the good things in life.

Wait...what happened to Denny's?

Creative Protocols For D/s Relationships:
I'm fascinated by protocols and hope to one day have that as part of a D/s relationship.  Always keen on learning more about it.

APOCALYPTAKINK: What Would You Do:
Sounds like an awesome rope class that would be really smart to take.  Knowing what to do if something bad happens helps with thinking smart and staying calm.

All the Two Knotty Boys stuff  cause...rope!!!

All of Rapture's classes (Caning, Poly Relationships, and Things Bottoms Don't Tell You)...because all of it includes things I am interested in or want to learn more about.

Pressure Points for Pleasure...um, yes please! Pressure points are awesome.

Impact 101/201...cause OMG impact is the best!!!

Kinky Combat: Combating Wrestling, Grappling, and Fighting:
At Spanks I spent about 1.5 hours watching their demo in the mentoring dungeon and getting some 1 on 1 instruction on improving my skills.  They are so super knowledgeable and great presenters.  And I love learning new techniques and practicing my wrestling skills.

Proactive Submission:
Learning better ways to communicate in D/s relationships seems like something that should always be sought to improve on.

Following the Leader:
A class that seems like a good topic that anyone who identifies on the right of the / could benefit from.

Science of BDSM:
The psychology and general science of the BDSM lifestyle have always fascinated me, and I have really enjoyed other classes on the topic in the past.

Intimacy and Vulnerability in D/s:
Another class that seems overall beneficial for D/s relationship stuff.

There is so much overlap, and this years class list really excites me due to all the great classes being offered.
